Following a review of the situation within the community together with the national picture of the increased number of covid-19 infections in Birmingham and the unanimous recommendations received from the Al-Tabeeb taskforce, The Executive Committee have decided to extend the suspension of all subcommittee activities, with the exception of cycling for a further period of 2 months effective today.

Cycling can resume with a maximum of upto 6 cyclists in a group. There will be no sharing of equipment, repair facilities or socialising pre or post rides.

We will continue to keep monitoring the evolving situation and will review this decision on the 16/02/2021 in view of the vaccination roll out.

We encourage all members to continue participating in all Jamaat activities in a Covid safe manner online and to enjoy exercise in our own family bubbles. Let us all pray to Allah (swt) to relieve us of this pandemic and to keep us all safe in this difficult time.
