Notice inviting further nominations for the position of President of KSIMC of Birmingham for the Term 2022/24.
Following on from my Notice on 01 January 2022 inviting nominations for the position of President of KSIMC of Birmingham for the Term 2022 to 2024, I have thus far only received one nomination.
Dr Muslim Khoja has nominated himself for the position of President which has been supported by 10 members.
In accordance with Chapter 14 of our Constitution, I hereby invite further nominations for the position of the President to be received no later than 15 March 2022.
All further nominations should be received no later than 15 March 2022 and be in writing from the person nominated signifying their consent to such nomination together with at least 5 Members seconding the nomination.
You can send your further nominations to the Secretariat or me directly.
The copy of the Jamaat’s Constitution that sets out, among others, the eligibility and the remit of the position, can be obtained from the Jamaat office and is also available on the Jamaat website.
