▪️ Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad Sa’eed Al-Hakeem
إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعون
It was with immense sadness we received the news that Grand Marja’, his eminence Ayatollah al-‘Udhma Sayyid Muhammad Sa’eed Al-Hakeem passed away in Najaf al-Ashraf (Iraq) on the 03/09/2021. He was burried on the 04/09/2021.
He was one of the four grand Maraje’ in Najaf and one of the most senior clerics in Iraq after Ayatullah Sayyid Ali Hussain al-Seestani (Hafidhahullah).
The Hawza Al-llmiya in Najaf al-Ashraf has lost one of its eminent scholars and jurists who dedicated his honourable self to supporting the religion and faith, devoting his blessed life to the service of knowledge and its people - leaving behind a glorious heritage of erudition of a lofty stature.
His demise is a huge loss to the Shi'i community worldwide and we convey our sincere condolences to the Imam of the time, Imam Mahdi (ajtfs), to the family and to the loved ones of his Eminence. May Allah (swt) elevate his station in the proximity of His chosen ones, Ameen.
Tonight's Majlis has been sponsored by the Jamaat in the honour of His Eminence and we request all to remember the Marhum in your du'as and with Namaaz Hadiya Mayyit.
