‎ إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعون

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un

It was with immense sadness that Grand Marja’, his eminence Ayatollah al-‘Udhma Sayyid Muhammad Sa’eed Al-Hakeem passed away yesterday in Najaf al-Ashraf, Iraq.

Marhum was one of the four grand Maraje’ in Najaf and one of the most senior clerics in Iraq after Ayatullah Sayyid Ali al-Sistani (Hafidhahullah).

Burial has taken place today Saturday 04th September 2021.

His demise is a huge loss to the Shi'i community worldwide and we convey our sincere condolences to the Imam of the time, Imam Mahdi (ajtfs), to the family and to the loved ones of his Eminence. May Allah (swt) elevate his station in the proximity of His chosen ones, Ameen.
