Everyday is Ashura! Every Land is Kerbala!

Imam Amir-ul-Mu'mineen Ali (as) said: "The tears do not dry up save for the hearts being hard, and hearts do not harden but because of the abundance of sins."
Imam Ridha (A.S.) said:One who refrains from seeking his (worldly) desires on the day of Ashura, Allah shall grant him his desires of this world and the hereafter.

Thawab for Jamaat Namaz PDF Print E-mail

Contributed by Rehmat Ali, from waiting for Muhammad al-Mahdī (A.S) by Abbas Mishan)

  • Those who honour Jamaat namaz are honoured by Allah and his Angels.
  • The lines of momineen standing for prayer are equivalent to the line of Angels in the 4th heaven.
  • To recite Jamaat namaz is superior to 40 years namaz recited alone.
  • To understand the importance of Jamaat namaz reflect on the following Hadith:
  • If there is one person praying behind the imam- each rakat is rewarded with the thawab of 150 rakats.
  • If there are 2 people praying behind the imam- each rakat is rewarded with the thawab of 600 rakats.
  • If the number is increased to 3 each rakat equals 1200 rakats.
  • When the number is 4 the thawab is for 2400 rakats.
  • If 5 people follow the imam then each rakat is equivalent to 4800 rakats.
  • When the number is 6 this increases to 9600 rakats, and if there are 7 the reward is for 19200 rakats.
  • If there are 8 people, the thawab is for 36,400 rakats.
  • And when there are 9 people this increases to 72,00 rakats.
  • When there are 10 people or more people praying behind the imam the thawab is such that only Allah knows how much it is.

It makes sense to pray namaz in Jamaat and benefit from its reward.
